‘Trippy Chippy’ to open in much-loved Manchester bar

A new concept offering it’s own spin on the traditional chippy is set to open at YES.

The Trippy Chippy will open in the popular Manchester bar and music venue on Fri 23 May.

Specialising in twice cooked skin-on fries served in a cone, or tray, with a variety of homemade toppings, the team describes the offering as a ‘chippy trifle’, layering crispy chips with multiple helpings of sauce and toppings of choice.

Prices start at £3.95 and toppings include combinations like truffle mayo and parmesan, curry ketchup, magic shrooms and pancetta, sriracha mayo and Gran Moravia.

To celebrate, Trippy Chippy and YES are giving away FREE chip cones on Fri 23 May from 5pm to the first 100 people in attendance.
